Marta Fasano Googins, of Braintree, graduated in 1961 from Fontbonne Academy in Milton. Last weekend, Googins and three other graduates of the Catholic school for young women were presented with Women of Courage Awards for living out the academy's mission.
“We are so proud of our alumnae for carrying out the Fontbonne Academy mission of serving others," Mary Ellen Barnes, Fontbonne Academy’s Head of School said in a statement. "These four alumnae in particular are so deserving of our first Women of Courage Awards."
