Best of Readers' Choice St. Patrick's Day Winner
Next week is best family-friendly restaurant
Joe's American Bar & Grill won our Best of Readers' Choice contest this week featuring your favorite places to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Braintree.
The restaurant at the South Shore Plaza captured 44 percent of the vote, followed by 99 Restaurant and Pub at 26 percent and Other (Boston?) at 20%. Write-ins included a reader's mom's house for corned beef and cabbage and Olympian Diner.
Examining the St. Patrick's Day offerings in Braintree, Kerry put it like this in a comment: "...other fun spots are McDonald's for a Shamrock Shake & Southie for the parade. Looks like Braintree could use an Irish place, like the Blarney Stone or something similar :)."
Next week, starting bright and early Monday morning, vote in our Readers' Choice Best Family-Friendly Restaurant contest. The poll opens at 6 a.m. Monday and closes next Friday, March 9 at 9 a.m.
