Baseball Memorabilia Stolen in Braintree Home Break-In

The following information was supplied by the Braintree Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Several items were taken from a Mann Street home in Braintree last weekend, including sports memorabilia, and police are looking for the culprit.

The homeowner reported that sometime Saturday night or Sunday morning, Sept. 2, someone entered through a rear glass sliding door that was left unlocked while the family was sleeping, Deputy Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement.

"Taken in the break was a 40” Samsung TV, an iPad, cash and several items of sports memorabilia, including pictures of Manny Ramirez, Teddy Bruschi, a picture of Jason Varitek and Alex Rodriguez and two memorabilia baseballs," Jenkins said. "One of the baseballs was autographed by Keith Foulke."
