A 47-year-old Braintree man was arrested on Tuesday evening after allegedly crashing his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Ronald K. Grabke, JR, reportedly hit a parked vehicle on Pleasant View Avenue, Deputy Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement. He was uninjured but both vehicles had to be towed.

At the scene, Officer Kevin Timulty observed that Grabke might have been drinking and gave him sobriety tests. After those tests, Grabke was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol.

Grabke consented to a blood alcohol test at the police station, Jenkins said, and recorded a level nearly three times the legal limit of 0.08 percent.
